I am fascinated by the complexity of nature. I began exploring the possibility of rendering this complexity in copper in 1995. It was challenging but I discovered that working with copper and water, merging form and function, I could replicate the organic quality of natural plant forms.

Copper is very maleable, and therefore receptive to nature's subtle shapes and contours. Through patient craftsmanship, I am able to render highly life-like leaf and plant forms. The introduction of water, which circulates through the scupture, brings even more life to the work.

In all my projects I work closely with my clients to develop unique fountains for thier unique environments. My objective is always to create a contemplative space - an environment of peaceful tranquility - that will contribute to the balance and harmony of life, both theirs and mine.
